#WetSealLoves Jamie Kidd

Ever find yourself stumbling across someone’s Insta feed and sooner than you know it, you’re already months deep in their images? We get it.  It happens to the best of us.  You just can’t keep your eyes off their captivating imagery and you’re definitely checking those tags to see where they are shopping because their outfits are on point.  In this case, we’re talking about style blogger and social media influencer Jamie Kidd.  From her gorgeous locks of hair and effortless boho style, to her love for her 3 fur babies, Jamie is always keeping things authentic throughout her feed.

We hit the town with her and her Aussie babe and talked all things social media, fave travel spots, and cats (of course).  Not to mention, we teamed up to bring you must-have transitional winter to spring looks that will have you visiting your local Wet Seal and or hopping online and clicking ‘add to cart’ real quick.

Take a peek below for some major style inspo and to read up on all our girl talk.

WS: Describe your personal style.

Jamie: I would describe my personal style as boho meets western gypsy!

WS: How long ago did you start blogging and to what do you attribute your success?

Jamie: I started blogging about 2 years ago. I would say that the best way to gain success is to always be posting new content.

WS: Your hair is magical.  What are some tips and tricks to create a tousled look like yours?

Jamie: To be honest I am so low maintenance with my hair. I just use simple shampoo, let it air dry, and use a curling wand to give it some volume!

WS: We love seeing your cats Lucy, Ollie, and Cleo on your Insta feed.  Tell us about your fur babies.

Jamie: My cats are clearly a huge part of my life, since I am at home a lot working. It’s really nice to have some company! Two out of the three cats are constantly bugging me to play fetch and take them on walks!

WS: You’ve been traveling a lot lately. What has been your favorite destination thus far?

Jamie: I really caught the travel bug this year! I would have to say that Australia was my favorite destination. The way of life there is so laid back and chill, it was hard to leave.

WS: Have you ever considered starting a YouTube channel?

Jamie: I go back and forth wanting to start a YouTube, but every time I record myself I hate hearing my voice (I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way when they hear themselves).

WS: What are your 3 must-have transitional winter to spring pieces?

Jamie: The pleated palazzo pants, striped print pleated midi skirt, and crushed velvet oversized tee. These three pieces are great to wear with sweaters, or lighter items as the weather warms up.

WS: Lastly, what advice would you give someone starting out in the blogging world?

Jamie: The best advice I can give someone starting out in blogging is to never be afraid to reach out to companies. The worst they can say is no, but as you grow, they will remember you and potentially want to work with you in the future.
